No detection (no “beep” in headset when a car gets to the menu board)
- Make sure the base station does not say “MODE<OUTSIDE>” or “MODE<ALWAYS ON>” on the main screen, which will show the MODE on the upper-left corner.
- If “MODE<OUTSIDE>” or “MODE<ALWAYS ON>” is showing, take the following steps:
-
-
- Use the arrow buttons and highlight MODE (the brackets will be highlighted). Press ENTER and use the up or down arrow keys change the mode to any other mode other than OUTSIDE or ALWAYS ON.
- Press ENTER when finished. Now check for detection tone when a car gets to the menu board.
-
If solution above does not apply and there is no detection (no tone or “beep” in headsets), take the flowing steps:
-
- Remove the screws on the front panel of the base station
- With the screws removed, gently remove the front panel from the base station.
- Remove / pull out the power supply that is inserted to the left of the keypad.
- Wait for 30 seconds, then re-insert the power supply.
- Please ensure that there are no cars at the menu board when re-inserting the power supply. DO NOT power on the system with a car at the menu board (cars can be anywhere else in the drive thru except the menu board).
- Once all headsets have been re-registered (you should have solid green lights on headsets), proceed to take an order and check for detection tone in headsets.
- If there is still no detection (beep), call Mood Drive-Thru Technical Support @ 800-316-8000
