Player fails to connect to the internet

  • Locate the remote for the player and press the home button. Navigate to the menu and press the OK button on the remote. Server Connectivity Status will be displayed here.
    • OK = player is connecting to Internet successfully
    • No Internet Connectivity = player is having issues connecting
  • If the MVision MVP195 or MVP175 player is not connecting, locate WiFi Status or Ethernet Status in the “Diagnostics” menu and confirm which of these is enabled.
    • If WiFi is enabled:
      • Press the back button on the remote, navigate down to and press the OK button on the remote.
      • Navigate to and ensure that the player is attempting to connect to the correct WiFi network. If the network is incorrect, select the appropriate network and provide the password using the remote.
      • When these settings are adjusted, press the back button and return to the menu to view the status of the internet connection again.
    • If Ethernet is enabled:
      • Verify that the Ethernet cable is securely connected to the back of the MVision player and to the correct port on the client’s network router/switch.
      • Press the back button on the remote, navigate down to and press the OK button on the remote.
      • Navigate to and verify the network settings displayed. If the network settings are incorrect or if you are unsure, consult your IT or ISP to confirm network settings.
